This summer, Riga Electrical Machinery Factory was excited to be part of the International Railway Fair and Conference “RAIL BUSINESS DAYS 2024″ in Ostrava, Czech Republic.
Our stand attracted immense interest with its relevant solutions for the railway industry!
We presented:
Board:
Control unit DS/DS photovoltaic energy converter with a power of 35 kW. The DC-DC converter regulates the constant output under various operating conditions of photovoltaic cells. When working together with photovoltaic panels and batteries, the converter adjusts the conversion to operate at the point of maximum power.
Rotor:
Synchronous reluctance motors (SynRM) utilize a stator similar to that of an induction motor, coupled with a uniquely designed salient-pole rotor. Power is provided through converters equipped with a sophisticated control system. The rotor, devoid of windings or magnets, is constructed from specially shaped sheet metal, significantly simplifying the design. The absence of energy loss in the rotor, which typically accounts for up to 30% of total motor losses, contributes to the high efficiency of the synchronous reluctance motor.
