Joint Stock Company “RĪGAS ELEKTROMAŠĪNBŪVES RŪPNĪCA” has successfully completed the study “Design and development of traction drive systems with supercapacitors for the subway” within the framework of the project “Enerģētikas un transporta kompetences centrs”. The project number is Nr. 1.2.1.1/18/A/001-08.
Within the framework of the project, a set of electrical equipment for the metro was developed, which includes an electric motor, an inverter module, a charge-discharge device, and a supercapacitor. Algorithms of control systems of the inverter module and a charge-discharge device with the corresponding embedded software were also developed.
All project goals were achieved in full and on time.
